Bottom Bunk Slats
The easiest was to turn the Ikea in to a bunk bed is to build the Kura with the bed at the top and use the bottom slats from Ikea itself LURÖY. LURÖY beds slats for the bottom bunk of the Ikea Aura are the perfect size. Although you can put the mattress straight on the floor, it will build up condensation and after only a matter of a few weeks will start to grow mold. It is therefore advisable to add bottom slats under the mattress for the bottom bunk.
The following are using the Ikea Aura Bunk bed with a mattress under the top bunk.
Theme: Black white and grey. The grey canopy and black and white bedding are a classic look so elegant.
